Shaping behaviour culture through a
shared behaviour Curriculum
21st May 2025

Module Overview
There are many different approaches used to gain and sustain improvement in behaviour and attitudes in schools. Some schools opt for a ‘zero tolerance’ approach while others choose to create ‘sanction-free’ schools. What is often missing from these approaches is the kind of forward thinking that prioritises the teaching of social, emotional and behavioural skills that appear to be declining among students. Through a behaviour curriculum leaders proactively detail and design the kind of behaviour culture that is desired, and the behaviour curriculum becomes the tool through which this vision is shared and embedded.
